Floating Action Button (FAB)
also known as FAB, Action button
A floating action button is a round, elevated button that hovers above the interface, usually in the bottom-right corner, representing the single most important action on a screen. Its prominence draws attention to that primary task. Common uses include compose, add, or create.
Don't confuse it with
A standard FAB performs one primary action; a speed dial is a FAB that expands into several related mini-actions when tapped. A scroll-to-top button only jumps to the page top.
