Layout

also known as composition, page layout

A layout is how all the pieces of a design (text, images, buttons, space) are positioned relative to each other. It is the finished composition the user actually sees. A good layout balances structure and hierarchy so content is easy to scan and understand.

Don't confuse it with
The layout is the final arrangement of content you see; the grid is the invisible framework used to build it. Many layouts can be built on the same grid.
