Tab Bar
also known as iOS tab bar
A tab bar is the mobile pattern (especially on iOS) that anchors a row of icon-and-label tabs to the bottom of the screen for top-level navigation. Each tab represents a primary section of the app and stays persistently visible. It typically holds three to five destinations.

Don't confuse it with
Tab bar is Apple's term and bottom navigation is Google's term for essentially the same bottom-anchored, top-level navigation pattern. Ordinary tabs live inside content and switch panels rather than acting as the app's global navigation.
