User Journey

also known as customer journey, journey map

A user journey captures the whole arc of a person's experience across multiple touchpoints, stages, and emotions, often before, during, and after using a product. Journey maps highlight goals, pain points, and feelings. They are strategic and experience-focused.

Don't confuse it with
A user journey is the wide, emotional, multi-touchpoint story; a user flow is a narrow, screen-by-screen path for a single task within the product.
